Introduction: Gardeniaherb,derivedfromthedriedripefruitsofGardeniajasminoidesEllis,hasbeenwidelyusedinTCMforcenturiesduetoitstherapeuticproperties.Itsessentialbioactivecomponents,includinggeniposide,crocin,andgardenoside,arebelievedtoberesponsibleforitspharmacologicalactivities.However,thequalityandconsistencyofGardeniaherbproductscanvaryduetofactorssuchascultivationconditions,harvestingmethods,andprocessingtechniques.Therefore,itisimperativetoestablishareliablefingerprintprofileforthisherbtomonitoritsqualityandensureitssafeandeffectiveuse.
