Accordingtothecognitiveapproach,metaphorisessentiallyregardedasamappingfromthesourcedomaintothetargetdomain.Thephilosophicalgroundingforthecognitiveapproachisexperientialrealismwhichconsidersbodilyexperienceanddailylifeexperienceasthesourceofhumancognition(秦苏芳,78-80).Sincespaceexperienceisoneofthemostcommononeinhumanlife,peoplearelikelytogiveanon-spatialconceptaspatialorientation.Metaphorscanbeaconceptdomainsystemcorrespondencemappingtoanotherconceptualdomainbymeansofhumancognitiveandreasoning(王寅,128).Specifically,metaphorisassociatedwithonethingandanother，thedirectiveofthethingsprojectedfromaconcepttoanotherwhichisintendedtoexpresssomething,thatiscognitiveprojectionormapincognitivelinguistics(BanderR.G，87).Inordertounderstandanddescribetheunknownphenomenon,weshouldbasedontheknownconceptsofhumanexpressionandtonefromoutsidetoinside,fromtheretohere,andbyusingtheamazingimaginationtodotheunusualjuxtapositionwithunfamiliarthingsanddeepenourunderstandingoftheunknownphenomena(胡壮麟,63). Spatialmetaphorisakindofimage-schematicmetaphorsofhighdegreeofcognitiveindispensability.Spatialmetaphorscanbereasonedandanalyzedwiththeparameterstrajectory,landmarkandpath.Acco
