CurrentSituation: Thecurrentsituationofelementaryschoolstudents'classroomparticipationischaracterizedbyvaryinglevelsofengagement.Whilesomestudentsactivelyparticipateandcontributetoclassroomdiscussions,othersremainpassivespectators.Thelackofstudentengagementisawidespreadconcerninmanyelementaryschoolclassrooms. Issues: 1.LackofConfidence:Somestudentslacktheconfidencetospeakuporsharetheirideasinfrontoftheirpeersandteachers.Thiscouldbeduetolowself-esteemorfearofmakingmistakesandbeingjudgedbyothers. 2.BoredomandDisengagement:Thetraditionalteachingapproach,whichoftenreliesonlecturesandpassivelearning,failstocapturestudents'attentionandfailstostimulatetheirinterest.Consequently,studentsbecomedisengagedandloseinterestinthesubjectmatter. 3.FearofBeingWrong:Studentsoftenfearthattheiranswerorideamaybewrong.Thisfearleadstoareluctancetoparticipateinclassdiscussionsandinhibitsthedevelopmentofcriticalthinkingskills. 4.LackofSupportiveEnvironment:Sometimes,theclassroomenvironmentfailstoencourageactiveparticipation.Forexample,teachersmayunintentionallyfavorcertainstudents,creatingacompetitiveratherthaninclusiveatmosphere. Measures: 1.CreatingaSupportiveEnvironment:Teacherscanfosterasupportiveclassroomenvironmentbyencouragingmutualrespectandvaluingeverystudent'scontribution.Theyshouldestablishgroundrulesthatpromoteinclusivityandensurethateverystudentfeelscomfortableexpressingtheirthoughts. 2.ImplementingAc
