Methodology: Thisstudyemploysanempiricalresearchdesign,combiningqualitativeandquantitativeresearchmethods.Theresearchprocessinvolvesinterviewswithkeystakeholders,suchaslocalgovernmentofficials,communityleaders,andparticipantsintheparticipatorybudgetingprocess.Additionally,surveysareconductedtogatherdataoncitizenperceptions,satisfactionlevels,andtheeffectivenessofcitizenengagementinthebudgetingprocess.Statisticalanalysiswillbeappliedtointerpretthefindings. Findings: 1.ImplementationofParticipatoryBudgeting:ThissectionprovidesanoverviewofthePBprocessinZeguoTown,includingtheselectionofparticipatingcitizens,deliberationanddecision-makingmechanisms,andtheallocationofresources.Itexaminestheextenttowhichtheprocessadherestotheprinciplesoftransparency,inclusivity,andaccountability. 2.CitizenEngagement:Thissectionexploresthelevelandnatureofcitizenengagementinthebudgetingprocess.Itassessestheextenttowhichcitizensareinformed,consulted,andhaveopportunitiestoinfluencebudgetarydecisions.Italsoexaminesthefactorsinfluencingcitizenparticipationandthebarriersfacedbymarginalizedgroups. 3.ImpactofParticipatoryBudgeting:ThissectionevaluatestheimpactofPBonlocalgovernance,accountability,andservicedelivery.ItexamineswhetherPBleadstomoreeffectiveresourceallocation,improvedcitizensatisfaction,andenhancedtrustinlocalgovernment.ItalsoinvestigatestheextenttowhichPBempowerscitizensandstrengthens
