I.LackofSpeakingOpportunities: OnekeyissueisthelimitedopportunityforstudentstopracticespeakingEnglish.Traditionalteachingmethodsoftenfocusongrammarandvocabulary,neglectingthedevelopmentofspeakingskills.Totacklethisproblem,teacherscanincorporatemoreinteractiveactivitiesintotheirlessons,suchasrole-plays,groupdiscussions,anddebates.Theseactivitiesprovidestudentswithampleopportunitiestopracticespeakinginacommunicativeandsupportiveenvironment. II.LackofConfidence: ManyjuniorhighschoolstudentslackconfidencewhenspeakingEnglish.Thiscanbeattributedtoafearofmakingmistakesorbeingjudgedbytheirpeers.Tobooststudents'confidence,teachersshouldcreateapositiveandencouragingclassroomatmosphere.Theyshouldemphasizethatmakingmistakesisanormalpartofthelearningprocessandprovideconstructivefeedbacktohelpstudentsimprove. III.InsufficientAuthenticMaterials: AnotherchallengeisthelackofauthenticmaterialsavailableforteachingspokenEnglish.Textbooksoftenprovidelimitedreal-lifesituationsandconversations.Teacherscanovercomethislimitationbyutilizingauthenticresourcessuchasvideos,songs,podcasts,andonlineplatforms.TheseresourcesexposestudentstoauthenticEnglishlanguageuse,helpingthemtoimprovetheirlisteningandspeakingskills.
