TypesofFeedback Theteacherprovidedbothformativeandsummativefeedbacktothestudents.Formativefeedbackisgivenduringthelearningprocess,whilesummativefeedbackisgivenafterthelearningiscompleted.Theformativefeedbackprovidedbytheteacherincludedcorrectingerrorsinthestudents'writing,highlightinggoodexamples,andgivingsuggestionsforimprovement.Thesummativefeedbackincludedgradesonassignmentsandtests. EffectivenessofFeedback ThefeedbackprovidedbytheteacherwasgenerallyeffectiveinhelpingstudentsimprovetheirEnglishskills.Theteacher'swrittenfeedbackonthestudents'writingwasparticularlyhelpful,asitidentifiedspecificerrorsandprovidedsuggestionsforimprovement.Theteacheralsoprovidedoralfeedbackduringclassdiscussionsandactivities,whichencouragedstudentstoparticipateandimprovetheirspokenEnglish. However,theeffectivenessofthesummativefeedbackwassomewhatlimited,asitonlyprovidedagradewithoutspecificfeedbackonhowtoimprove.Theteachercouldhavesupplementedthegradeswithcommentsonareaswherethestudentsneedtoimprove. StrategiesUsedtoProvideFeedback Theteacherusedseveralstrategiestoprovidefeedbacktothestudents.First,theteacherutilizedarubrictoevaluatethestudents'writingassignments.Therubricidentifiedspecificareaswherethestudentsneededtoimprove,makingthefeedbackmoremeaningfulandactionable. Second,theteacherprovidedindividualizedfeedbacktostudents,addressingtheirspecificstrengthsandweaknesses.Thispersonalizedfeedbackhelpedtomotivatethestudentsandprovidedaclearunderstandingofwhattheyneededtodotoimprove. Finally,theteacherprovidedtimelyfeedback,allowingthestudentstoapplythefeedbackimmediately.Thishelpedthestudentstoreinforcewhat
