Introduction: Languageandreadingareessentialskillsforindividualstocommunicateeffectivelyandacquireknowledge.Inrecentyears,therehavebeenmanydiscussionsandreformsonlanguageandreadingeducationinurbanprimaryschools.However,thesituationisdifferentinruralareas.Duetothelimitationsofeducationalresourcesandteachingconditions,thelanguageandreadingeducationinruralprimaryschoolsfacesmanychallenges.Thispaperwillanalyzethecurrentsituationandproposeeffectivestrategiestoimprovethelanguageandreadingeducationinruralprimaryschools. I.CurrentSituation: 1.Lackofqualifiedteachers:Comparedwithurbanprimaryschools,ruralprimaryschoolsoftensufferfromashortageofqualifiedlanguageandreadingteachers.Manyteachersinruralareaslackprofessionaltrainingandarenotupdatedwiththelatestteachingmethodsandresources. 2.Insufficientteachingmaterials:Duetothelimitedfundingandresources,ruralprimaryschoolsoftenlacksufficientteachingmaterialssuchastextbooks,referencebooks,andsupplementaryreadingmaterials.Thismakesitdifficultforstudentstohavearichanddiversereadingexperience. 3.Limitedaccesstotechnology:Ruralschoolsoftenhavelimitedaccesstomoderntechnologies,suchascomputersandtheinternet.Thishinderstheuseofeducationalsoftwareandonlineresources,whicharevitalforenhancingreadingcomprehensionandlanguageskills. 4.Lackofparentalsupport:Inmanyruralareas,parentshavealowlevelofeducationandlackawarenessoftheimportanceoflanguageandreadingeducation.Thisleadstoalackofsupportandencouragementfromparents,whichnegativelyaffectsstudents'readinghabitsandmotivation. II.StrategiesforImprovement: 1.Teachertrainingandsupport:Thegovernmentandeducationalauthoritiesshoul
