LiteratureReview: 1.TaskEngagementandVocabularyAcquisition:Taskengagementreferstotheactivementalandphysicalinvolvementoflearnersinalearningtask.Accordingtoresearch,taskengagementhasbeenproventopositivelyimpactvocabularyacquisitionbypromotingdeeperprocessingofnewwords,increasingattentiontolexicalitems,andenhancingmemoryrecall. 2.LearnerProficiencyandVocabularyAcquisition:Learnerproficiencyisanothercriticalfactorcontributingtovocabularyacquisition.Researchsuggeststhathigherproficiencylevelenableslearnerstocomprehendandrememberwordsmoreeffectively,leadingtoahigherrateofsuccessfulincidentalvocabularyacquisition. Methodology: 1.Participants:ThestudywillrecruitasampleofmiddleschoolstudentsfromseveralEnglishlanguageclassrooms.Apre-testwillbeconductedinitiallytoassesstheirbaselinevocabularyknowledgeandproficiencylevel. 2.TaskDesign:Variouslanguagetaskswillbedesignedandimplementedtoengagetheparticipants.Thesetaskswillincludereadingpassages,listeningactivities,andwrittenexercises,allaimedatenhancingtheparticipants'vocabularyacquisition. 3.DataCollection:Thestudywillcollectbothquantitativeandqualitativedata.Quantitativedatawillconsistofvocabularytestsadministeredbeforeandafterthetasks,withstatisticalanalysisperformedtodeterminetheextentofvocabularyacquisition.Qualitativedatawillbeobtainedthroughinterviewsandquestionnaires,allowingparticipantstoreflectontheirtaskengagementandvocabularyle
