Keywords:CPFSK,modulation,demodulation,design,implementation 1.Introduction CPFSKisadigitalmodulationschemethatcombinesphaseshiftkeying(PSK)withfrequencymodulation(FM).InCPFSK,thephaseofthecarriersignaliscontrolledbythedigitaldata,whilethecarrierfrequencyisshiftedbasedonthechangeindata.ThekeyadvantageofCPFSKistheconstantphasetransitions,whichresultsinaconstantenvelopesignal,makingitrobustagainstnonlineardistortion. 2.CPFSKModulationDesign TheCPFSKmodulationprocessinvolvestwomainsteps:phasemodulationandfrequencymodulation.Thedigitaldatastreamisfirstdividedintosymbols,whicharerepresentedbyphasechanges.Thephaseofthecarriersignalisthenmodulatedaccordingtothesesymbols.Thefrequencymodulationcomponentisaddedbyshiftingthecarrierfrequencybasedonthesymboltransitions.ThedesignoftheCPFSKmodulatorrequirescarefulconsiderationofthesymbolmapping,phasemodulationindex,andfrequencydeviation. 3.CPFSKDemodulationDesign CPFSKdemodulationistheprocessofextractingthedigitaldatafromthereceivedCPFSKsignal.Thedemodulatorconsistsofafrequencydiscriminatorandaphasedetector.Thefrequencydiscriminatorisresponsiblefordetectingthefrequencydeviationcausedbythephasetransitions,whilethephasedetectorextractsthephaseinformationfromthefrequency-modulatedsignal.Thedesignofthedemodulatorinvolvestheimplementationoffilters,phaserecoverycircuits,andtimingrecoveryalgorithms. 4.ImplementationConsiderations TheimplementationofCPFSKmodulatoranddemodulatorcanbedoneusingdigitalsignalprocessing(DSP)techniquesordedicatedhardwaremodules.DSPimplementationallowsforflexibilityandeaseofintegrationwithothercommunicationsystems.However,dedicatedhardwaremod
