ABSTRACT

Thehighereducationhasplayedanimportantroleinthedevelopmentofmarket
economyinChina.Inordertooccupythemarketandstandoutinfuriouscompetition,
collegesanduniversitiesmustconcentratetheirresourcesandenergyontheimprovementof
corecompetitiveness.Nowadays,thescareofuniversitiesisexpanding,whileatthesame
timetheinvestmentputinhighereducationisdecreasing.Therefore,outsourcing,asan
effectivemeans,canbeusedforgeneraltasks,especiallyinlogistics,inordertoimprovetheir
efficiencyandcorecompetitiveness.
First,thisessayputsforwardtherelatedtheoryandthestatequoofresearchon
outsourcing.Second,itintroducessomecharacteristicsaboutlogisticsofcollegesand
universitiesindevelopedcountries.Third,itdiscussestheachievementssincethereformof
logisticsincollegesanduniversitiesinChina,andthencomparesandcontraststhesituations
oflogisticsofuniversitiesbothinChinaandabroad.Then,theproblemsanddifficulties
facingChinesecollegesanduniversitiesduringtheadministrationoflogisticswerediscussed.
ThisessayfocusesonarepresentativeuniversityinChina,anddoesanempirical
researchonit.Itanalysestheproblemsandobstaclesintheprocessoflogisticsincolleges
anduniversities.Forinstance,there’sroomtoimproveinsuchaspectsastoomanylogistics
departments,lowefficiencyofutilization,vaguelydefinedsupervisors,andthehuman
resourcemanagement.Atlast，inordertoputforwardpossibleandpracticalsolutionstothe
aboveproblemsandobstacles,theessaydesignstheconcretestrategies,includingthegoal,
theprinciplesandprocessionaboutthelogisticsincollegesanduniversities.
