I.CurrentSituationofHighSchoolEnglishWritingTeaching 1.Insufficientemphasisonwritingskills: InmanyhighschoolEnglishclassrooms,thefocusisprimarilyonreadingandlisteningexercises,withlimitedemphasisonwritingskills.Asaresult,studentslackpracticeandfeedbackinwriting,hinderingtheirdevelopmentinthisarea. 2.Limitedteachingresources: Manyschoolslackadequateteachingresourcesandmaterials,makingitchallengingforteacherstoeffectivelyinstructstudentsintheartofwriting.Outdatedtextbooksandlimitedaccesstoreferencematerialscanhinderstudents'exposuretodiversewritingstylesandtechniques. 3.Lackofwritingmotivation: StudentsoftenlackintrinsicmotivationtowriteinEnglish,viewingitasadauntingandtedioustask.Theabsenceofcompellingwritingpromptsandalackofconnectiontoreal-lifesituationscontributetothisproblem. 4.Inadequatefeedbackandassessment: Duetolargeclasssizes,teachersoftenstruggletoprovidetimelyanddetailedfeedbackonstudents'writingassignments.Additionally,assessmentcriteriamaybeunclearorinconsistent,makingitdifficultforstudentstounderstandtheirstrengthsandareasforimprovement.
