英语教育硕士教师职业认同感研究综述报告 Introduction Careeridentityisseenasafundamentalaspectofprofessionalgrowthanddevelopment.Itisadistinctivefeatureofaprofessional’sself-conceptthatinfluenceshowtheytranslatetheirbeliefsandvaluesintotheirwork-relatedpractice.Careeridentityisevenmoreimportantforteachersastheirprofessionalidentitycaninfluencenotonlytheirindividualperformancebutalsotheperformanceofthestudentstheyteach.Careeridentityisshapedbyvariousfactorslikepersonalbackground,workexperiences,teachereducationprograms,andteacherprofessionaldevelopmentprograms.Thispaperaimstoprovideanoverviewoftheexistingliteratureonthefactorscontributingtoteachercareeridentity,therelationshipbetweencareeridentityandprofessionaldevelopment,theroleofcareeridentityinteachermentoring,andtheimportanceofcareeridentityinpromotingteacherretention. FactorsContributingtoTeacherCareerIdentity Severalfactorshavebeenidentifiedascontributingtothedevelopmentofteachercareeridentity.Thefirstfactoristhepersonalbackgroundoftheteacher,includingtheirfamilyandeducationalexperience.Teacherswhocomefromfamiliesthatvalueeducationaremorelikelytodevelopastrongcareeridentityasateacher.Teacherswhoreceivedtrainingfromhigh-qualityteachereducationprogramstendtotakeonaprofessionalidentitythatemphasizesafocusontheuseofevidence-basedinstructionalpractices,andacommitmenttoprofessionaldevelopment(Fullen&Hargreaves,2015). Teacherexperiencesintheworkplacearealsosignificantinfluencesontheircareeridentity.Teacherswhoarecommittedtotheteachingprofession,haveasenseofefficacy,andaresatisfiedwiththeirworkenvironmentandstatusaremorelikelytosustainasenseofidentityasteachers(McIntyre,2017).Inaddition,teacherinteractionwithcolleaguesisaninfluentialfactorthatshapescareeridentity.Teacherswhoworkwithcolleagueswhosharesimilarbeliefsandvaluestendtohaveasharedsenseofidentity,whichfosterprofessionalrelationshipswithjobsatisfactionthatcanstrengthencareeridentity(Fullen&Hargreaves,2015).
