Introduction: ThelearningofEnglishinprimaryschoolplaysacrucialroleinstudents'overalllanguagedevelopmentandfuturelanguagelearning.Readingandwritingareessentiallanguageskillsthatneedtobenurturedandintegratedintothecurriculumeffectively.Traditionalinstructionalapproachesoftentreatreadingandwritingasseparatecomponents,whichmaynotfullyexploitthepotentialconnectionbetweenthetwoskills.However,researchsuggeststhatintegratingreadingandwritingactivitiescanleadtosignificantimprovementsinlanguageproficiencyamongstudents.
