Blendedlearning,alsoknownashybridlearning,isateachingmethodthatcombinestraditionalface-to-faceinstructionwithonlinelearningactivities.Theseactivitiescantakeavarietyofforms,suchasvideolectures,onlinediscussions,andinteractivequizzes.Theaimofblendedlearningistoprovideamoreflexibleandpersonalizedlearningexperienceforstudentswhilestillmaintainingthebenefitsoftraditionalclassroominstruction. InanEnglishreadingcourse,blendedlearningcantakemanyforms.Forexample,studentsmightattendtraditionalclassroomlecturesanddiscussions,butalsoberequiredtocompleteonlinereadingassignmentsandparticipateinonlinediscussionforums.Alternatively,thecoursemightconsistofentirelyonlinelecturesandactivities,withperiodicopportunitiesforin-persondiscussionorreviewsessions.
