高职非英语专业学生外语课堂学习焦虑的研究 摘要: 外语学习对于非英语专业学生来说是一项重要的课程。然而,这些学生可能会面临焦虑的问题,这可能会影响到他们的学业和学习体验。本文旨在探讨高职非英语专业学生外语课堂学习焦虑的原因、影响和应对措施等方面。研究发现,学习者的个人因素、教育环境和外部因素都会对学习焦虑产生影响。为解决这一问题,可以采取积极的心理辅导和教学策略,提高学习者的自信心和学习动机,增强其应对外部因素的能力。 关键词:非英语专业学生、外语学习、焦虑、心理辅导、教学策略 Introduction: Foreignlanguagelearninghasbecomeanessentialpartofthecurriculumfornon-Englishmajors,especiallyforstudentsinvocationalcolleges.AsEnglishiswidelyusedasagloballanguage,itisnecessaryforstudentstolearnthelanguageinordertosurviveinahighlycompetitivesociety.However,manynon-Englishmajorstudentsoftenfacedifficultiesinlearning,whichcanleadtoanxietyintheclassroom.Anxietyisacommonproblemthatmoststudentsfacewhentheyarelearninganewlanguage.Itiscrucialtoexplorethecausesoflanguageanxietyanditseffectsonlearning.Additionally,itisnecessarytoinvestigatewaysinwhichteachingstrategiesandpsychologicalcounselingcanalleviateanxietyintheclassroom. CausesofLanguageAnxiety: Individualfactors: Individualfactorssuchaspersonality,motivationandself-esteemcanaffecttheextentoflanguageanxietyintheclassroom.Forinstance,studentswhohavelowself-esteemmayfeelintimidatedbytheirpeers’abilitiesandmaythusbegintofeelanxiousandoverwhelmed.Somelearnersareafraidofmakingmistakesinfrontofothers,especiallywhenitcomestospeakingEnglish. Educationalenvironment: Theeducationalenvironmentalsoplaysavitalroleincausinganxietyintheclassroom.Theteacher'sattitude,teachingmethodsandclassroommanagementcanallcontributetoastudent'sanxietylevel.Studentsmayfeelanxiousiftheydonotreceivefeedbackontheirperformanceoriftheyreceivenegativefeedback.Theymayalsofeeloverwhelmediftheteacherteachesatapacethatistoofastoriftheyarenotgivensufficienttimetograsptheconceptsbeingtaught.
