Introduction: Hypertrophicscarsareacommoncomplicationofwoundhealing,especiallyinburnpatients.Theyarecharacterizedbytheexcessivesynthesisofextracellularmatrix(ECM)components,includingcollagen,fibronectin,andproteoglycans.Hypertrophicscarscancausesignificantmorbidity,astheycanlimitjointmobilityandcausesevereitchingandpain.Therefore,understandingthepathogenesisofhypertrophicscarsiscrucialfordevelopingeffectivepreventionandtreatmentstrategies. Thedevelopmentofhypertrophicscarscanbedividedintoseveralphases,includingtheinflammatoryphase,proliferationphase,andremodelingphase.Duringtheinflammatoryphase,thewoundisinfiltratedbyinflammatorycells,includingmacrophages,neutrophils,andlymphocytes.ThesecellsreleasecytokinesandgrowthfactorsthatstimulatetheproliferationoffibroblastsandthesynthesisofECMcomponents.Duringtheproliferationphase,fibroblastsmigrateintothewoundandproliferate,producinglargeramountsofECMcomponents.Duringtheremodelingphase,theECMisremodeledandreorganizedtorestoretissuestrengthandfunction. Transforminggrowthfactorbeta(TGF-B)isafamilyofcytokinesthatplaysacriticalroleinthedevelopmentofhypertrophicscars.TGF-B1andTGF-B2havebeenshowntobeinvolvedinthepathogenesisofhypertrophicscars.However,theroleofTGF-B3inhypertrophicscarformationislesswellknown. ExpressionandsignificanceofTGF-B3indifferentstagesofhypertrophicscarformation: TheexpressionofTGF-B3inhypertrophicscarswasanalyzedbyseveralstudies.Overall,theexpressionofTGF-B3wasfoundtobedecreasedinhypertrophicscarsco
