Keywords:wall-flowparticletrap,continuousregeneration,regenerationefficiency,trappingperformance Introduction Asenvironmentalpollutionbecomesmoreandmoreserious,thereductionofexhaustemissionsfromdieselengineshasbecomeanurgentissue.Thedevelopmentofdieselparticulatefilters(DPFs)hasbecomeoneofthemosteffectivemethodsforcontrollingdieselexhaustparticulatematter(PM)emissions.Amongvarioustypesoffilters,wall-flowfiltershavegainedincreasingattentionduetotheirhighPMremovalefficiencyandlowpressuredrop.However,theaccumulationofPMinthefilterchannelscanleadtocloggingandasignificantincreaseinthepressuredrop.TheperiodicremovaloftheaccumulatedPMisessentialfortheefficientoperationofthewall-flowfilter,andthisisachievedbyaregenerationprocess. In-wallflowfilters,aneffectiveregenerationprocessiscrucialformaintainingtheirhighfiltrationefficiencyandlowpressuredrop.Continuousregeneration,whichoccursduringnormalengineoperation,canavoidtheperiodicremovalofaccumulatedPMandimprovethefilter'sreliabilityundervariousengineloadsandoperatingconditions.Therefore,thisstudyaimstoinvestigatethecontinuousregenerationcharacteristicsofwall-flowfiltersandexploretheinfluenceofregenerationconditionsonthefilteringperformance.
