Languagelearningisanessentialcomponentofmusiceducation.AlotoftheterminologyusedinmusictheoryandnotationisinEnglish,andstudentsneedtohaveagoodunderstandingofthelanguagetoexcelintheirstudies.However,traditionallanguagelearningmethodsthatfocusongrammarrulesandvocabularymemorizationdonotalwaysworkeffectivelyformusicmajorsinvocationalschools.Thisstudyaimstoexploreexperientiallanguagelearningasanalternativeapproachforthesestudents. Researchquestions 1.Whatisthecurrentstateoflanguagelearningamongmusicmajorsinvocationalschools? 2.Whatisexperientiallanguagelearning,andhowcanitbeappliedtomusiceducation? 3.Doestheuseofexperientiallanguagelearningimprovethelanguageproficiencyofmusicmajorsinvocationalschools? Literaturereview Languagelearningisacomplexprocessthatinvolvestheacquisitionofboththelanguageformsanditsfunctions.Traditionallanguagelearningmethodsfocusonteachinggrammarrulesandvocabularymemorization,butresearchhasshownthatthesemethodsarenotalwayseffectiveforallstudents,especiallythosewhoarestudyingmusic.Therefore,alternativeapproachesareneededthatcanprovideamoreengagingandeffectivelearningexperience.
