曲克芦丁对STZ糖尿病大鼠认知功能障碍及Nrf2表达的影响的综述报告 Introduction Diabetesmellitus(DM)isachronicmetabolicdisordercharacterizedbyhighlevelsofglucoseintheblood,whichresultsfromeithertheinabilityofinsulintoregulatebloodsugarlevelsorthereducedproductionofinsulinbythepancreas.Itisregardedasthemostwidespreadandseriousmetabolicdiseaseaffectinghumansworldwide,anditisrecognizedasamajorcardiovascularriskfactor.Inaddition,itisknowntobeassociatedwithcognitivedysfunctionandmemoryimpairment(Takedaetal.,2014).Quercetin(Qu)isaflavonoidthatisfoundinhighquantitiesinfruitsandvegetables,andithasbeendemonstratedtohavevarioushealthbenefits,includingantioxidant,anti-inflammatory,andneuroprotectiveproperties.Inthisreview,wediscussthepotentialeffectsofquercetinonthecognitivefunctionandNrf2expressioninstreptozotocin(STZ)-induceddiabeticrats. EffectsofDMoncognitivefunction StudieshaveshownthatDMhasadetrimentaleffectoncognitivefunction,leadingtomemoryimpairment,learningdeficits,andexecutivedysfunction.Theunderlyingmechanismsforthesecognitivedeficitsremainunclear,buttheyarethoughttoberelatedtooxidativestress,inflammation,andinsulinresistance,aswellasalterationsintheneuralstructureandfunctionofthehippocampus(Hernandezetal.,2019).InSTZ-induceddiabeticrats,cognitivedeclineoccursduetotheincreaseinoxidativestressandthereductionintheantioxidativedefensesystem,whichleadstodamageinthehippocampalneurons.Further,chronichyperglycemiaandinsulinresistanceaffecttheinsulin-signalingpathway,whichisimportantforcognitivefunctionandmemoryconsolidation.
