对外汉语教材中词汇的英文注释问题研究的中期报告 Abstract Thismid-termreportprovidesanoverviewoftheresearchprogressontheannotationofChinesevocabularywithEnglishexplanationsinChineseasaForeignLanguage(CFL)textbooks.Themainresearchquestions,objectives,andframeworkareoutlined,followedbyabriefliteraturereview.Themethodologyanddatacollectionprocedureswerealsodescribed.Apreliminaryanalysisofthedatawaspresented,includingthefrequencyofEnglishwordsusedtoexplainChinesevocabulary,thetypesandsourcesoferrorsintheexplanations,andthelevelofproficiencyrequiredtounderstandtheexplanations.Lastly,futureresearchdirectionswerediscussed. Introduction AsmoreandmorepeoplebecomeinterestedinlearningChinese,thedemandforhigh-qualityCFLtextbookshasbeengrowing.Vocabularyisanessentialcomponentoflanguagelearning,andhowvocabularyispresentedintextbooksiscriticaltolearners'success.IntraditionalCFLtextbooks,ChinesevocabularyisfrequentlyannotatedwithpinyinandChineseexplanationsonly.However,theseexplanationscanbechallengingforlearnerswhomaybeunfamiliarwiththeChinesegrammaticalstructureorsyntax.Therefore,theuseofEnglishasasupplementarylanguageforannotationhasbeenproposedtoaidlearners'comprehensionofChinesevocabulary. TheresearchprojectaimstoexaminetheeffectivenessofannotatingChinesevocabularywithEnglishexplanationsinCFLtextbooks.Thismid-termreportprovidesanoverviewoftheresearchquestions,objectives,andframeworkanddescribesthedatacollectionandanalysisprocedures.Additionally,initialfindingsandfutureresearchdirectionsarediscussed.
