浅析提高中学生英语阅读能力的策略
摘要
英语阅读能力的提高一直是我国学生英语学习中的一大难题，提高阅读能力是学好英语的关键步骤。本文拟从阅读习惯、阅读过程及阅读技巧等方面加以阐述。阅读是理解和吸收书面信息的手段，是获取知识的重要途径。正如哥德曼（K.S.Goodman）所说：“阅读是对三种相互有关而又相互有区别的信息，即形符、句法和语义的信息进行处理的一种形式。”而阅读理解能力是反映语言能力的重要标志之一。近年来，英语阅读的重要性正逐步为英语教育界所共识，来自各方面的信息也显示，我们当前的英语教育对学生的阅读理解能力也越来越重视。在近几年的中考、高考中，检测学生阅读理解能力的内容已成为一个重要的组成部分。这就要求我们在英语教学实践中必须切实加强阅读能力教学，培养学生阅读理解能力和学习英语的兴趣，以提高学生英语水平。

ToimproveEnglishreadingabilityofstudentshasbeenoneofthemajorproblemsinChina.ImprovingreadingabilityisakeystepinlearningEnglish.SoIelaboratethereadinghabits,readingprocessandreadingskillsinthispaper.Readingisanimportantwaytounderstandandabsorbwritteninformationandaccesstoknowledge.AsGoldman(KSGoodman)said:"Readingisaninterrelatedandmutuallydistinctmessagethatthesymbol,syntacticandsemanticinformationareinaformoftreatment."Thereadingabilityisanimportantsigntoreflecttheabilityoflanguage.Inrecentyears,theimportanceofreadinginEnglishisaconsensusfortheEnglisheducationsetor.ItisalsoshownfromallsidesoftheinformationthatourpresentEnglisheducationtothestudentsgivemoreandmoreattentiontoreadingcomprehension.Inthepastfewyearsintheexams,testingstudentsinreadingcomprehensionhasbecomeanimportantcomponentincollegeentranceexamination.ThisrequiresustopracticeteachingofEnglishreadingabilityanditisessentialtostrengthentheirreadingcomprehensionabilityandtheirinterestinlearningEnglish.InthiswaywecanimproveEnglishlevelofstudents.
