ATeachersResumeToWhomItMayConcern:MynameisAndrewLeeandIamaCanadiancitizenwhohasrecentlygraduatedfromGlobalTESOLCollegeandtheUniversityofWinnipeg.InadditiontothefoundationTESOLcourse,Ihavechosentospecializeinteachingadults,childrenandbusinessEnglish.ThecentralfocusofmyacademichistoryisprimarilyrootedinPoliticalScience.However,IhavealsoobtainedamajorinJusticeandLawandSociology.IamcurrentlyseekingasecureESL/EFLteachingpositioninSouthKoreaorTaiwan.Ihavealwayshadauniqueinterestinthecultureofthesetwocountries.Icurrentlyhaveseveralfriendsteachingabroad,inbothSouthKoreaandTaiwan,andIwouldliketojointhem.Ihaveheardnothingbutgoodthingsrelatingtothepeopleofbothcountries.ItisatthistimeinwhichIwouldliketoexperiencethepeopleandthecultureofthesecountriesfirsthand.Asnotedinmyresume,IamcurrentlyvolunteeringattheInternationalCentreofWinnipeg.Workingforthisorganizationhasprovidedmewiththeopportunitytoconductoneononetutoring.Asapersonaltutor,Ihavehadtodevelopdifferentlessonplansforeachstudent.Currently,Iamassistingtwoinpiduals,eachwithseparateneeds.Forinstance,forthefirstinpidual,IamhelpinghimacquirehishighschoolEnglishcredit.Mycentralfocusforthisinpidualistoenhancehisreadingandwritingskills.Asfortheotherinpidual,Iamassistinghimindevelopingstrongerlisteningandspeakingskills.Asaresultofthedifferentdemandsofthestudents,Ihavehadtodevelopandemployvariousteachingmethods.InadditiontotutoringfortheInternationalCentreofWinnipeg,IamalsocurrentlyvolunteeringasanassistantlanguageteacherattheWinnipegAdultEducationCentre.Asanassistantlanguageteacher,Ifacilitateinthedeliveryofthelessonplan.Inthisclassroom,theinstructiontimeispided,withhalfofthetimebeingspentlearningthroughcomputersandtheotherhalfthroughvarioustasksandexercises.AlthoughIamnotdirectlyinvolvedindevelopingthelessonplan,Iamdirectlyinvolvedintheassessmentofstudentprogress,classdirectionandstudentteaching.Asavolunteerforthesetwoorganizations,notonlyhaveIgainedvaluableteachingexperience,IhavealsobeenprovidedtheopportunitytoattendvariousESL/E
