2021香港留学优秀的学生申请书范本EversincechildhoodIhaveenjoyedworkingwithmyhands.Whetherasaneightyear-oldgluingtogetheramodelcaroranadolescentassemblingabookshelfinwoodworkingclass,Ithrivedonthechallengesofpreciseandmeticuloustasks.ThroughouthighschoolIhavebeenintriguedbythesciences,butitwasnotuntilIreadaboutlate-breakingdiscoveriesandresearchinthefieldofgeneticsthatmyinterestsinscienceintensified.WhenIenteredtheUniversityofBritishColumbia(UBC),InaturallychosetospecializeinCellBiologyandGenetics.InmysophomoreyearatUBC,Ifirstbegantoseriouslyconsiderdentistryasacareer.Atthattime,Ibegantoappreciatetheimportantrolethatdentistryplayedinmylife.Fouryearsearlier,IbegananorthodontictreatmentprogramwithDr.JunniWangtocorrectaseverecrowdingproblemwithmyteeth.Bothbeforeandduringthetreatment,Iwasamostreluctantparticipant;notmanyteenagerslookforwardtobracesfillingtheirmouthduringtheirlasttwoyearsofhighschool,andIwasnodifferent.However,ateverymonthlycheck-upforthree-and-a-halfyearstheofficestaffhadnothingbutkindwordsofencouragementandoptimism.NowafterthecompletionofthetreatmentIhadreasontosmile.Dr.Wanghelpedturnmefromashyadolescentwhofearedsmilingintoaconfident,outgoingyoungman.Hisskillsnotonlybroughtbackmysmile,butalsomysenseofconfidenceinallaspectsofmylife.WhereasonceIfeareddrawingattentiontomyselfandthusshiedawayfromleadershippostsanddebates,nowIamacompletelydifferentperson.HopingtofeelassatisfiedandgratifiedasDr.Wangmusthavefeltinimprovingnotonlymysmilebutmyentirewayoflife,Ilookforwardtoimprovingtheoralhealthofpatientsonadailybasisandparticipatingindentistry’sfriendly,team-orientedworkenvironment.Afterthispreliminary‘patient-doctor’exposuretodentistry,Isubstantiallyincreasedmyinvolvementinthefieldtodetermineifdentistryreallywasforme.MyparticipationwiththeUBCPre-DentalSocietyallowedmetocommunicatewithvariousprofessionalsinthefield.IalsoinvestigatedopportunitiestovolunteerintheUniversityDentalClinicorparticipateinresearchwork.AfterspeakingtoacoupleofprofessorsintheUBCFacultyofDentistryaskingth
