雅思大作文:是否应该鼓励学生对老师进行评估Despiteeducators'willingnesstobetterthemselves,theyarenotnecessarilyhappywithallformsoffeedback.Inparticular,theyoftenhavemixedfeelingsabouthavingtheirstudentsevaluatethem.Isthisconcernjustified?Somepeoplebelievethatlearnersarenotthebestcandidatesforgivingconstructivecriticism,andIcanunderstandtheirpointofview.Theprimaryreason,accordingtosomeeducators,isthatwhenteenagersareawareoftheirabilitytoinfluencetheirteacherandthechangeinpowerdynamics,theyarelikelytemptedtochallengethepresetclassroomrules,ineffectunderminingtheauthorityoftheteacherinchange.Anotherconcernissomestudents,especiallythosewhoregarddisciplinaryactionsorlowgradestheyhavepreviouslyreceivedasunfair,aresaidtomakeuseofthisopportunitytoventonapersonallevel.However,theseclaimsareunjustified,astheyassumethatstudentsworkagainstthebestintentionsofeducators,whichissimplynotthecaseformosthighschoolers.Others,however,arguethatstudentfeedbackisessentialforcontinuousprofessionaldevelopment,apositionthatIcanreadilysidewith.Themainreasonliesinthatstudents,theprimaryaudienceofteaching,commandthemostintimateknowledgeofday-to-dayexperienceundertheguidanceofateacher.Theirfeedbackisthereforelesslikelytobeskewedcomparedwithreportsproducedbydirectorsofstudieswhoonlysitinonaclassortwooverasemester.Beingaskedtoprovidefeedbackonaregularbasisisalsogoodforstudents,becauseithelpsthemfeelmorefullyengagedintheireducation.Thosewhofeeltheiropinionmattersarefarmorelikelytohaveapersonalstakeintheeducationalprocess,sotheirlearningoutcomesareunsurprisinglybetterthanthoseofunder-appreciatedstudents.Inconclusion,althoughteachersmayhesitatetogranttheirstudentsthepowertoevaluatetheirteaching,doingsocanofferexcellentinsightsintotheeffectivenessoftheirwork.Whenthisisdoneregularly,thequalityoftheeducationalexperienceissuretoimproveforboththeteacherandthestudents.
