TheSimilaritiesandDifferencesbetweenChineseandWesternViewsofLovefromthePerspectiveofChineseandWesternMyths摘要：神话故事是一个国家文化的源泉，神话里的人物及其事迹也给现实中的人们诸多启发。纵使是神话传说，神话人物也具备着普通的人性，渴望爱情追逐爱情。本文试图从中国和西方神话中不同的爱情故事来分析对比中西爱情观的异同。本文选取了中国上古时期的神话传说和希腊神话中的四个爱情故事，力图说明中西爱情观的异同之处。中西爱情观的相似之处在于人们对爱情都抱有非常向往的态度，以及女性对于爱情的执着。中西爱情观的差异在于中国人表达爱情较为含蓄，西方人较为直白；中国人更加注重爱情的结果，而西方人更加注重爱情的过程和经历；中国人在爱情中更加注重物质，而西方人更加注重精神。中西爱情观的差异给现代中国人的启发在于在现代爱情中应更多的吸收西方爱情观的精华，结合中国传统爱情观的美德，使爱情和婚姻更加完美和谐。关键词：神话；中西爱情观；对比Abstract:mythsaretheculturalresourceofacountry.Charactersandtheireventsinmythsprovideinspirationsforpeopleinreality.Eventhoughtheywerelegends,charactersinmythswereendowedwithcommonhumannatureoflongingforloveandpursuinglove.TheauthorofthepaperintendstoanalyzeandcompareChineseandwesternviewsoflovefromtheperspectiveofspiritsinmyths.BasedonthefourlovestoriesfromtheancientChinesemythlegendsandtheancientGreekmyths,theauthorexploresthesimilaritiesanddifferencesofChineseandwesternviewsoflove.thesimilaritiesofChineseandwesternviewsoflovearethatpeoplealltooklongingattitudestowardsloveandwomenwereespeciallyover–absorbedinlove.ThedifferencesofChineseandwesternviewsoflovearethatChinesepeoplewereimplicitinexpressinglovewhilewesternerswereexplicit;Chinesepeopleattachedgreatimportancetotheresultsoflovewhilewesternersattachedimportancetotheprocessandexperienceoflove;Chinesepeoplepaidmuchattentiontomaterialswhilewesternerspaidmuchattentiontospirit.ThedifferencesinChineseandwesternviewsofloveenlightenedmodernChinesepeopletoabsorbessencefromwesternviewsofloveandmakeacombinationwiththevirtuesinthetraditionalChineseviewsoflovetoenablethemodernloveandmarriagetobemoreharmoniousandperfect.Keywords:myths;Chineseandwesternviewsoflove;compare1IntroductionMythsweretheearliestw
