询问“情况”的常用句型

在日常交流中，经常会遇到询问情况的场合，现将几种常见说法归类如下：
①Whatabout…?与Howabout…?
用来询问别人的情况，打探消息或者提出建议征求对方的意见等。介词about后面可以接用名词、代词或动名词（包括动名词复合结构）。
Howaboutacupoftea?
Whataboutyou?
Whataboutwatchingabasketballmatchtogether?
②Whatbe…like?与What…looklike?
一般用于询问天气情况或者人的内在或外在特征（外貌特征、品质特征等等）。
What…looklike?一般只用来询问外在特征。

---Whatisshelike?/Whatdoesshelooklike?
---Sheislikehermother,beautifulandtall.

■如果句子的主语是事物时，则是询问事物的外在特征、基本特点或者详细情况。对下列句子的划线部分进行提问时，皆可使用whatis/are…like?
Thetreesareverytall.

■注意：在有些情况下，用howbe…?与whatbe…like?差别并不大，二者可以换用。在这种情况下，句子的主语往往是一些这样的词，它们本身具有经常变化的含义。

■但即使在这种情况下，还是有些细微差别：whatbe…like?询问的是一般情况，多是静态；howbe…?则是询问变化了的情况或“人”的身体状况。

用来询问别人的工作、学习等的进展情况或者与人相处的情况。
