INVERSION
倒装
英语句子通常有两种语序:
一种是主语放在谓语的前面,叫做自然语序;
一种是把谓语放在主语的前面,叫做倒装语序。倒装形式见课本178页强调和补充的部分：
部分倒装
1、句首有否定词或否定短语时，句子要部分倒装。
（1）常见的否定词有：never,hardly,scarcely,little,seldom,not,notuntil,rarely,nosooner…than/hardly…when,nowhere等。
a)Nowhereintheworldcanyoufindapersonwholovesyousomuch!
b)Notaworddidhesayatthemeeting.
c)NeverbeforehaveIheardsuchastory.
d)Notonlydidweloseallourmoney,butwealsocameclosetolosingourlives.(注意：后一部分不倒装）把下列各句变成倒装句：
1)Ididn’tleaveuntilhecameback.
=NotuntilhecamebackdidIleave.
2）Thevillagerdidn’trealizeituntilallthefishdiedintheriver.
=Notuntilallthefishdiedintheriverdidthevillagerrealizeit.
（注意：主句中主谓结构部分倒装。）

常见的否定短语有：innoway,innocase,atnotime,bynomeans,innosense,onnoaccount,undernocircumstances.这些否定短语常放在句首，表示强调，译为“绝不……”。一定记住它们的介词搭配。特别注意否定词不是修饰整个句子，而只是限定句子主语，则句子不用倒装。2.“so+形容词或副词”放在句首，表示程度，句子要部分倒装。Practice:.NotuntilIbegantowork_______howmuch
