基于MODIS数据的上海市热岛效应分析 Abstract Urbanheatisland(UHI)isaphenomenonthathasbeenprevalentinmanycitiesworldwide,especiallyinrapidlyurbanizingregions.ThisstudypresentsananalysisoftheUHIeffectinShanghaiCitybasedonMODIS(ModerateResolutionImagingSpectroradiometer)data.Thestudyaimstodeterminetheextentoftheheatislandeffect,thefactorsdrivingit,anditspotentialimpactsontheenvironmentandhumanactivities.ResultsshowthatShanghaiCityexhibitsasignificantUHIeffect,withtheaveragetemperaturedifferencereaching2°Cduringsummertime.Factorssuchasland-usechanges,populationgrowth,andbuildingdensityareidentifiedasthemaindriversoftheheatislandeffect.ThefindingsofthestudycanbeusedtodevelopstrategiesformitigatingtheUHIeffectinShanghaiCityandothercitiesexperiencingthesamephenomenon. Introduction Urbanizationisaglobaltrendthathassignificantimpactsontheenvironmentandhumanactivities.Rapidurbanizationandindustrializationhaveledtotheemergenceoftheurbanheatisland(UHI)phenomenon,whichischaracterizedbyhighertemperaturesinurbanareasthaninsurroundingruralareas.TheUHIeffectiscausedbychangesinlanduse,theincreasedbuiltenvironment,andhumanactivities.TheUHIeffecthasbeenreportedinmanycitiesworldwide,includingShanghaiCity. ShanghaiCity,locatedintheYangtzeRiverDeltaineasternChina,isoneofthefastest-growingcitiesintheworld,withapopulationofmorethan24millionpeople.Thecityhasundergonesignificanturbanizationandindustrializationinthepastfewdecades,resultinginsignificantchangesinlanduse,populationgrowth,andbuildingdensity.ThesechangeshaveledtoanincreaseintemperatureinShanghaiCity,whichhasbecomeasignificantconcernforurbanplanners,policymakers,andresidents. ThisstudyaimstoanalyzetheUHIeffectinShanghaiCitybasedonMODISdata.Thestudyfocusesondeterminingtheextentoftheheatislandeffect,thefactorsdrivingit,anditspotentialimpactsontheenvironmentandhumanactivities.
