EMP模拟器用GTEM小室接头的优化设计 I.Introduction Sincetheadvancementoftechnology,electronicsystemshavebecomeanintegralpartofdailyactivities.Anelectromagneticpulse(EMP)isasuddenburstofelectromagneticradiationthatcanseverelydamageelectronicsystems.Thiscanhavedisastrousconsequencesformilitaryandcivilianapplicationswhereelectronicsystemsarecritical.Tomitigatethisrisk,thereisanincreasingdemandforEMPsimulators.EMPsimulatorsrecreatethecharacteristicsofEMPandallowtestingofelectronicsystemsinacontrolledenvironment. EMPsimulatorsuseavarietyofantennasortheircombinationsforgeneratingelectromagneticfields.TheGTEM(GigahertzTransverseElectromagnetic)cellisincreasinglyusedasapreferredmethodforgeneratingEMPandtestingelectronicsystems.TheGTEMcellprovidesapracticalandsafemethodforbothEMClaboratorytestingandfieldmeasurements.Inthispaper,wefocusontheoptimizationoftheGTEMcellforEMPsimulator. II.TheGTEMCell TheGTEMcellconsistsofataperedconductingchamberwithacoaxialportwherethesignalentersandexits.Thecellhasataperedrectangularcross-sectionandterminatesintoaclosedend.TheGTEMcellhasbeenusedextensivelyforEMC(ElectromagneticCompatibility)testing. TheGTEMcellgeneratesaTEM(TransverseElectromagnetic)modeinsidethecell,whichpropagatesintheTEMwaveguide.TEMmodeisatypeofelectromagneticwavethatpropagateswithoutchangingitsshapealongthewaveguide.Thewavepropagatesacrosstheconductivewallsofthecellandcreatesafielduniformityzone.ThelengthoftheGTEMcelldeterminesthefrequencyoftheuniformfieldregion.ThewavelengthoftheelectromagneticwavemustbeproportionaltothelengthoftheGTEMcell. III.EMPSimulator EMPsimulatorsaredesignedtosimulatetheeffectsofelectromagneticpulses.EMPsimulatorsuseavarietyofantennasortheircombinationsforgeneratingelectromagneticfields.TheEMPsimulatorgeneratesanelectromagneticwavethatpropagatesinsidetheGTEMcell.TheelectromagneticwavecreatesauniformfieldintheGTEMcell.TheE-field,H-field,andpowerdensityofthegeneratedfieldcanbecontrolledandadjustedtosimulatedifferentEMPs.
