旅游英语翻译研究综述 Abstract Withthecontinuousdevelopmentoftourismindustry,tourismEnglishhasbecomeanecessaryskillfortourismpractitioners.Inthispaper,wereviewtheresearchprogressandcurrentsituationoftourismEnglishtranslation,includingitsdefinition,researchcontent,researchmethods,andpractice.WeconcludethattourismEnglishtranslationisanimportantfieldthatdemandsfurtherattentionandresearch. Keywords:tourismEnglish,translation,tourismindustry,researchprogress Introduction Tourismindustryisoneofthefastest-growingindustriesintheworld,andithasbroughtsignificanteconomicandculturalbenefitstomanyregions.Asaresult,thedemandfortourismEnglishtranslationhasincreasedrapidly,makingitacriticalareaofstudyfortourismindustrypractitionersandresearchers. TourismEnglishtranslation,alsoreferredtoastourismlanguagetranslation,istheprocessofconvertingtourism-relateddocumentsandinformationfromonelanguagetoanother.Itincludesinterpretingoralcommunicationsduringtours,translatingbrochuresandtravelguides,andprovidingmultilingualcustomerservice. Inthispaper,wewillreviewtherecentresearchprogressinthefieldoftourismEnglishtranslation.Wewillprovideinsightsintotheresearchcontent,methods,andpracticeoftourismEnglishtranslation,aswellasthechallengesthattheindustryfaces. ResearchContent TourismEnglishtranslationisaninterdisciplinaryareaofstudythatinvolvestheintegrationofmanyaspectssuchastourism,language,culturalexchange,andglobalization.Theresearchcontentcanbedividedintothreemaincategories:thetheoriesoftourismEnglishtranslation,thetechniquesandmethodsoftourismEnglishtranslation,andthetranslationpracticesinthetourismindustry.
