Firstly,thegeologicalstatisticalpriorinformationisobtainedfromwelllogs,seismicdata,andcoresamples.Variouswelllogdatatypessuchasresistivity,acousticvelocity,anddensityaretypicallyusedtoestimatethephysicalproperties.Theseismicdataisemployedtoidentifythegeologicalstructuralfeaturesandchangesinrockproperties.Thecoresamplesareusedtoobtainthedirectmeasurementsofrockproperties. Secondly,thegeologicalstatisticalpriorinformationisintegratedintotheinversionalgorithmthroughtheBayesianframework.TheBayesianframeworkprovidesacoherentandcomprehensivemethodforincorporatingpriorinformationintotheinversionprocess.Theinversionalgorithmisdesignedtoestimatetheposteriordistributionofphysicalparametersbyupdatingthepriordistributionbasedontheobserveddata. Thirdly,theinversionalgorithmisvalidatedandevaluatedbycomparingtheestimatedphysicalparameterswiththeactualmeasurements.MonteCarlosimulationisappliedtogeneratemultiplerealizationsoftheposteriordistributionofphysicalparameterstoobtaintheuncertaintyestimation.Theaccuracyanduncertaintyestimationoftheestimatedphysicalparameterscanbeimprovedbyincorporatinggeologicalstatisticalpriorinformationincontrasttotheconventionalinversionmethod. Finally,theresultsarediscussedintermsoftheirpracticalsignificanceforreservoircharacterizationandthefutureresearchdirection.Thesimultaneousinversionofreservoirphysicalparametersbasedongeologicalstatisticalpriorinformationcanprovidemoreaccurateandreliablereservoircharacterizationresults,whichisofgreatimportanceforreservoirmanagement,exploration,andproduction.Thereisstillroom
