Introduction: Surfacewavesareunwantednoisesignalsthatcanseriouslydegradetheperformanceandqualityofgeophysicaldata.Traditionalmethodsforsurfacewavesuppressionoftensufferfromlimitations,suchaslossofusefulinformation,inadequateadaptabilitytovariousdata,andinsufficientrobustness.Toaddresstheseissues,thispaperproposesajointsuppressionmethodthatcombineswaveletanalysisandradialchanneltransform,aimingtoovercomethedrawbacksoftraditionalmethodsandimprovetheaccuracyandrobustnessofsurfacewavesuppression. Methods: 1.WaveletAnalysis: Wavelettransformisapowerfultoolforanalyzingsignalsinbothtimeandfrequencydomains.Inthismethod,theseismicdataisdecomposedintomultiplescalesusingawavelettransform.Byselectinganappropriatewaveletfunctionanddecompositionlevel,thesurfacewavecomponentscanbeseparatedfromthedesiredsubsurfacesignals.Thesurfacewavecomponentsarethensubtractedtoenhancethequalityofthesubsurfacedata. 2.RadialChannelTransform: Theradialchanneltransformisaneffectivetechniquethatcancapturetheenergydistributioncharacteristicsofseismicdata.Inthismethod,multipleradialchannelsaregeneratedaroundeachseismictrace.Theenergyofeachchanneliscalculatedandcomparedtoidentifythedominantfrequenciesassociatedwithsurfacewaves.Byanalyzingtheenergydistribution,thesurfacewavecomponentscanbeidentifiedandsuppressed. 3.JointSuppression: Theproposedmethodcombineswaveletanalysisandradialchanneltransformtojointlysuppresssurfacewaves.Thesurfacewavecomponentsidentifiedinthewaveletdomainandenergydistributionanalysisaresubtractedfromtheoriginalseismicdata.Thejointsu
