Dumpingreferstothepracticeofsellinggoodsbelowtheirnormalvalueintheexportingcountry.Itisconsideredanunfairtradepracticebecauseitharmsthedomesticindustriesofimportingcountries.Inresponsetothesepractices,manycountrieshaveimplementedanti-dumpinglawstoprotecttheirindustries.However,theprocessofanti-dumpinginvestigationscanbelengthyandcomplex,anditoftenleadstotensionsanddisputesbetweentheinvolvedparties.
