ThereareseveralreasonswhyQoSisessentialinnetworking.Firstly,itensuresthatcriticalapplications,suchasvoiceandvideo,receivepriorityovernon-criticalapplications,suchasemailandwebbrowsing.Thisisnecessarytoensurethatusershaveapositiveexperiencewhenusingtheseapplications,asanydelaysorinterruptionscanbefrustratinganddisruptive.Additionally,inindustriessuchashealthcareandfinance,networkdowntimeordelayscanhaveseriousconsequences,makingQoSanessentialaspectofnetworkmanagement.
