LiteratureReview: 1.ReadingandWriting:Numerousstudieshaveindicatedastrongcorrelationbetweenreadingandwritingskills.Readingexposesstudentstovarioussentencestructures,vocabulary,andstorytellingtechniques,whichcanenhancetheirwritingabilities. 2.MiddleSchoolStudents:Itiswidelyacknowledgedthatmiddleschoolisacriticalperiodforlanguagedevelopment.Duringthisphase,studentsundergosignificantchangesincognitive,linguistic,andemotionalaspects,makingitanidealtimetoinvestigatetheimpactofreadingsequelsontheirwritingskills. 3.SequelReading:Readingsequelsoffersstudentsopportunitiestodeepentheirunderstandingofcharacters,plots,andcontexts,promotingcriticalthinkingandanalyticalskills.Thisexposurecanpotentiallybooststudents'creativityandimprovetheirwritingproficiency. Methodology: Participants:Atotalof200middleschoolstudentsfromgrades7to9willberandomlyselectedfromseveralschoolsinthearea. Design:Thestudywillutilizeapre-testandpost-testdesign,withparticipantsdividedintotwogroups:theexperimentalgroup(readsequels)andthecontrolgroup(didnotreadsequels).
