核心素养背景下初中化学探究实验的改进研究 Title:AnImprovisedStudyonEnhancingMiddleSchoolChemistryExperimentBasedonCoreCompetencies Abstract: Aseducationcontinuestoevolve,itisessentialtocreateeffectivelearningexperiencesthatenhancestudents'corecompetencies.Thisstudyaimstoexploreanimprovedapproachtomiddleschoolchemistryexperimentsbyincorporatingcorecompetencies.Byintegratingcriticalthinking,communication,collaboration,andcreativityintotheexperimentalprocess,studentsareexpectedtodevelopadeeperunderstandingofchemicalconceptsandenhancetheiroveralllearningexperience.Thispaperdiscussestherationale,methodology,results,andimplicationsofthisinnovativeapproachtomiddleschoolchemistryexperiments. 1.Introduction: Middleschooleducationplaysacrucialroleindevelopingstudents'corecompetencies,astheyformthefoundationfortheirfutureacademicandprofessionalsuccess.Thetraditionalapproachtoteachingchemistryexperimentsoftenfocusessolelyontheoreticalknowledgeacquisition,neglectingthedevelopmentofessentialskills.Thisstudyaimstoaddressthisissuebyincorporatingcorecompetenciesintotheexperimentalprocess,fosteringamoreholisticlearningexperienceforstudents. 2.Rationale: Theintegrationofcorecompetenciesintochemistryexperimentsoffersseveraladvantages.Firstly,itenhancescriticalthinkingskillsbychallengingstudentstoanalyzeexperimentalresults,drawconclusions,andevaluatethereliabilityoftheirfindings.Secondly,itpromoteseffectivecommunication,asstudentsengageindiscussionsandpresenttheirexperimentalfindingstotheirpeers.Thirdly,collaborationisfosteredthroughgroupwork,allowingstudentstolearnfromoneanotherandpracticeteamwork.Lastly,creativityisencouragedasstudentsexplorealternativeapproachesandproblem-solvingtechniquesduringtheexperimentationprocess. 3.Methodology: Theexperimentalapproachwascarriedoutintwophases.Inthefirstphase,traditionalchemistryexperimentswereconductedtoestablishabaselineforcomparison.Inthesecondphase,thecorecompetencieswereincorporatedintotheexperimentalprocess.Studentsweregivenmorefreedomtodesigntheirexperiments
