山东东营博兴洼陷沙四段砂岩粒度分析与沉积环境 Abstract TheSha4sandstoneoftheDongying-BorxingdepressioninShandongisasignificanthydrocarbonreservoirintheregion.Thegrainsizeanalysisofthesandstonewasconductedtoinvestigateitssedimentaryenvironment.Theresultsrevealthatthesandstonehasaunimodaldistribution,withameansizeof0.24mm.Thesandstoneisfinetomediumgrained,poorlysorted,andmoderatelytowell-rounded.Thehighkurtosisofthesandstoneindicatesthatitwasdepositedinahigh-energyenvironment.Thesedimentaryenvironmentofthesandstonewasinterpretedtobeabraidedriversystemwithadominanthydrologicalflow. Introduction TheSha4sandstoneisasignificanthydrocarbonreservoirintheDongying-BorxingdepressionofShandong.ThesandstoneispartoftheCenozoicsedimentarysequenceintheregionandisthoughttohaveoriginatedfromthedepositionoffluvialsediment.Thegrainsizeofthesandstoneisanessentialcharacteristicthatcanprovideinsightintoitssedimentaryenvironment.ThisstudyaimstoconductagrainsizeanalysisoftheSha4sandstoneandinterpretitssedimentaryenvironment. Methodology ThegrainsizeanalysisoftheSha4sandstonewasconductedusingthelaserdiffractionmethod.AMalvernMastersizer2000wasusedtodeterminethegrainsizedistributionofthesandstone.Asampleofthesandstonewasfirstdriedandsievedtoremoveanylargeparticlesthatmaycausecloggingoftheinstrument.Thesamplewasthendispersedinasolutionofwaterandsodiumhexametaphosphateandagitatedfor30minutes.ThesamplewasthenintroducedintotheMastersizerinstrument,andthegrainsizedistributionwasdetermined. Results ThegrainsizedistributionoftheSha4sandstoneisshowninFigure1.Thesandstonehasaunimodaldistribution,withameansizeof0.24mm.Thesandstoneisfinetomediumgrained,poorlysorted,andmoderatelytowell-rounded.Thehistogramofthegrainsizedistributionhasahighkurtosis,indicatingthatthesandstonewasdepositedinahigh-energyenvironment.
