Introduction Industrialprocesssimulationinvolvesreplicatingaproductionprocessusingcomputermodelsandsoftwaresystems,typicallytotestoperationalefficiencies,makeadjustments,andidentifyareasforimprovement.Manufacturingsimulationcanprovideessentialdesignandschedulingdataformanufacturingprocesses,includingpartflowandparttransferanalysis,resourceallocation,andschedulingoptimization.Flexsimsoftwareisoneofthemostversatileindustrialsimulationsoftwarepackagesavailable.Ithasbeenusedinmanufacturingprocesssimulationstotesttheefficiencyofsystems,optimizetheflowofgoods,minimizeleadtimesandreduceproductioncosts.
