Theremotemonitoringsystemconsistsoftwomaincomponents:hardwareandsoftware.Thehardwarecomponentconsistsofsensorsandcamerasthatareinstalledintheremotelocation.Thesensorsmeasureandrecordtheenvironmentalconditionssuchastemperature,humidity,airpressure,etc.,whilethecamerascapturevisualimagesofthesurroundings.Thesedevicesareconnectedtoamicrocontrollerboardwhichcollectsthedataandsendsittothecentralserver.Thesoftwarecomponentconsistsofaweb-basedinterfacewhichisaccessiblefromanydevicewithinternetconnectivity.Theinterfacedisplaysdatafromthesensorsandcamerasinreal-time,allowinguserstoremotelymonitortheenvironmentoractivitiesintheremotelocation. Theremotemonitoringsystemhasmanyapplicationsinvariousfieldsincludingsecurityandsurveillance,environmentalmonitoring,industrialautomation,etc.Inthesecurityandsurveillancefield,thesystemcanbeusedtomonitorpremisessuchashomes,offices,warehouses,etc.Thecamerasinstalledintheremotelocationcapturevisualimageswhichcanbeviewedinreal-timeorlateronusingthewebinterface.Thesensorsdetectanyunusualactivitiessuchasmotion,temperaturechanges,etc.,andsendalertstotheuser'smobilephoneoremail.Thesystemcanalsobeintegratedwithanalarmsystemthatalertstheauthoritiesincaseofbreach.
