基于GIS的复杂河网区域洪水灾害风险评价 Abstract Theevaluationoffloodriskincomplexrivernetworksisacriticalissueindisastermanagementandmitigation.GeographicInformationSystems(GIS)haveemergedasahighlyeffectivetoolforanalyzingandassessingfloodhazards.Inthisstudy,weaimedtoidentifyandquantifythefloodriskinacomplexrivernetworkregionusingGIS.Weutilizedtopographicalandhydrologicaldataandassessedthefloodriskusingmulti-criteriadecision-makinganalysis. Introduction Floodingisoneofthemostcommonanddestructivenaturaldisastersthatoccurglobally.Floodscauseextensivedamagetoproperty,severeeconomiclosses,andlossoflife.Floodriskassessmentisessentialfordisastermanagementandmitigationtoidentifyandquantifythepotentialimpactoffloodhazardsinflood-proneareas.Complexrivernetworksposeasignificantchallengeforfloodriskassessmentduetotheirdynamicnature.Therefore,GeographicInformationSystems(GIS)haveemergedasapowerfultoolforeffectivedecision-makinginfloodmanagementandmitigation. Methodology Inthisstudy,weusedGIStoassessthefloodriskinacomplexrivernetworkregionlocatedinChina.Wecollectedtopographicalandhydrologicaldatatocreatearivernetworkmodel.Therivernetworkwasdividedintosub-basins,andeachsub-basinwasevaluatedbasedonitsslope,landuse,soiltype,anddistancefromtheriverchannel.Thesub-basinswerethenweightedusingamulti-criteriadecision-makinganalysistoassessthefloodrisk.Eachcriterionwasgivenaweightbasedonitsrelativeimportanceinthefloodriskassessment. Results Thefloodriskassessmentresultsshowedthattheupstreamareasoftherivernetworkhadalowfloodrisk,whilethedownstreamareashadthehighestrisk.Thesub-basinslocatedclosertotheriverchannelandwithahigherpercentageofimperviouslandusehadahigherriskofflooding.Themulti-criteriadecision-makinganalysisallowedustocomparetherelativeimportanceofeachcriterioninthefloodriskassessment.Thedistancefromtheriverchannelwasidentifiedasthemostcriticalfactorindeterminingthefloodriskinthestudyarea. Conclusion TheresultsofthisstudysuggestthatGIScanbehighlyeffectiveforassessingthefloodriskincomplexrivernetwo
