Introduction: Intoday'sglobalizedworld,Englishproficiencyhasbecomeanessentialskillforstudents,especiallythoseinjuniorhighschool.DevelopingeffectivestudystrategiesiscrucialinordertoimproveEnglishlanguageproficiencyandachieveacademicsuccess.ThisresearchaimstoexaminethecorrelationbetweenstudystrategiesandacademicperformanceinEnglishamongjuniorhighschoolstudents. LiteratureReview: Thissectionprovidesacomprehensivereviewofpreviousstudiesthathaveexploredtherelationshipbetweenstudystrategiesandacademicperformance.Variousstudystrategiessuchasorganization,timemanagement,note-taking,andself-regulationhavebeenidentifiedasinfluencingacademicsuccessinlanguagelearning.TheliteraturereviewwillfurtherhighlightthesignificanceofthesestrategiesinimprovingEnglishlanguageproficiency.
