CurrentSituation: 1.Insufficientemphasis:Manymilitaryacademiesprioritizetheteachingofotherlanguageskillssuchasspeaking,reading,andwriting,neglectingtheimportanceoflisteningskills.Thisresultsinalackofmotivationamongstudentstoimprovetheirlisteningabilities. 2.Limitedexposure:StudentsinmilitaryacademieshavelimitedexposuretonativeEnglishspeakersandauthenticlisteningmaterials.Thisrestrictstheirabilitytounderstanddifferentaccents,intonations,andspeechpatterns,whicharecrucialforeffectivecommunication. 3.Outdatedmaterials:Thematerialsandresourcesusedforteachinglisteningskillsatmilitaryacademiesareoftenoutdatedanddonotreflectcurrentreal-lifescenariosinmilitarycontexts.Asaresult,studentsstruggletorelatetheirlearningtopracticalsituations. 4.Inadequatetrainingmethods:Listeningskillsaretypicallytaughtthroughtraditionalmethodssuchaslecturesandtextbooks,withminimalinteractiveandpracticalactivities.Thisapproachfailstoprovidestudentswithsufficientpracticeandexposuretoauthenticlisteningmaterials. ProposedStrategies: 1.Curricularreforms:MilitaryacademiesshouldrevisetheircurriculatoincludeadedicatedfocusonEnglishlisteningtraining.Thiscouldbedonebyallocatingmoretimeforlisteningpracticesessionsandintegratinglisteningskilldevelopmentintoalllanguagecourses. 2.Authenticlisteningmaterials:Militaryacademiesshouldincorporateauthenticlisteningmaterialssuchasnewsreports,speeches,andmilitary-relatedpodcastsorvideos.Thisexposurewillhelpstudentsbecomefamiliarwithvariousaccents,vo
