Introduction Withtherapiddevelopmentoftheconstructionindustry,moreandmorearchitectshavedesignedbuildingswithuniqueshapesandstyles.Amongthem,diamond-shapedsaddledroof,asatypicalarchitecturalstyle,hasattractedattentionforitsuniqueshape.Theroofstructureischaracterizedbyitssharppeaksandvalleys,whichcreatesanaestheticallypleasingeffect.However,duetoitsuniqueshape,thewindpressureontheroofsurfaceisunevenlydistributed,whichmaycausedamagestotheroofstructureandaffectthesafetyofthebuilding.Therefore,thestudyofthesurfacewindpressurecharacteristicsofdiamond-shapedsaddledroofisofgreatsignificance. Inthispaper,awindtunneltestiscarriedouttoinvestigatethesurfacewindpressurecharacteristicsofdiamond-shapedsaddledroof.Thedistributionlawofwindpressureonthesurfaceoftheroofisanalyzed.Therelationshipbetweentheshapeoftheroofandthewindpressuredistributionisrevealed,whichcanprovidereferenceforthedesignandconstructionofdiamond-shapedsaddledroof.
