[METHODOLOGY] Toconductthisstudy,acomprehensiveliteraturereviewwasconductedtounderstandthecurrentstatusoflaboratorymanagementandthepotentialbenefitsandchallengesofimplementingIoTtechnology.Additionally,variousresearchpapersandcasestudieswereanalyzedtogatherinsightsintothedesignandimplementationofanIoT-basedlaboratorymanagementsystem. [BACKGROUND] Laboratorymanagementofteninvolvesmultiplecomplextasks,suchasequipmentmonitoring,datacollection,inventorymanagement,andexperimentscheduling.Thesetasksareusuallyperformedmanually,resultingininefficienciesandincreasedchancesofhumanerrors.ByintegratingIoTtechnologyintolaboratorymanagementsystems,thesetaskscanbeautomated,leadingtoimprovedefficiency,accuracy,andcost-effectiveness. [BENEFITSOFANIoT-BASEDLABORATORYMANAGEMENTSYSTEM] 1.AutomationofEquipmentMonitoring:Byequippinglaboratoryequipmentwithsensors,real-timemonitoringofequipmentperformanceandconditioncanbeachieved.Thisallowsfortimelymaintenanceandreducestheriskofequipmentfailures,improvingproductivity. 2.DataCollectionandAnalysis:IoTdevicescancollectandtransmitdatafromvariouslaboratoryinstruments,enablingreal-timedataanalysisandvisualization.Researcherscanaccessdataremotely,leadingtofasterexperimentationandanalysis. 3.InventoryManagement:AnIoT-basedsystemcantrackinventorylevels,monitorexpirationdatesofreagentsandconsumables,andsendalertsforrestocking.Thishelpsinavoidingstock-outsandwastageofresources. 4.ExperimentSchedulingandResourceAllocation:IoTsensorscanmonitorexperimentschedules,detectinganyoverlapsorconflicts.Thisallowsforefficientallocationofresourcesandreducesbottlenecksinlaborat
