农田信息远程监测与管理系统——基于ZigBee和GPRS 1.Introduction Agricultureplaysacriticalroleinensuringfoodsecurityandeconomicgrowthinmanycountries.However,farmersoftenfacearangeofchallengesincludingunpredictableweatherpatterns,limitedaccesstomarketinformationandresources,lackoffinancialresources,anddiseaseandpestoutbreaks.Toaddressthesechallenges,thereisaneedforinnovativesolutionsthatenablefarmerstohaveaccesstotimelyandaccurateinformationabouttheirfarms.ThispaperproposesaremotemonitoringandmanagementsystemforfarmlandbasedontheZigBeeandGPRStechnologies. 2.LiteratureReview Theuseofremotemonitoringandmanagementsystemshasbeengainingpopularityinrecentyearsduetoadvancementsintechnologyandtheneedforimprovedefficiencyinagriculture.Anumberofstudieshaveexploredtheuseofwirelesssensornetworks(WSNs)formonitoringsoilmoisture,temperature,andotherenvironmentalconditionsinfarmland.Chavalietal.(2018)proposedawirelesssensornetworkarchitectureforprecisionagriculture,whichincludedsensorsformonitoringtemperature,humidity,soilmoisture,lightintensity,andsoilnutrientlevels.AnotherstudybyKumaretal.(2019)usedasensornetworkforprecisionirrigationoftomatoes,whichresultedinwatersavingsofupto70%. InadditiontoWSNs,therehasbeenincreasinginterestintheuseofmobileandremotetechnologiesforagriculturalmanagement.GPRShasbeenwidelyusedinagriculturetoenablethetransmissionofdataoverwidedistances.Wangetal.(2018)developedaremotemonitoringandcontrollingsystemforgreenhousebasedonGPRS,whichallowedfarmerstocontroltheenvironmentalconditionsofthegreenhouseremotely.AnotherstudybyKolheetal.(2018)proposedtheintegrationofGPRSwithcloudcomputingforreal-timemonitoringofcropgrowth. However,therearestillsignificantchallengestowidespreadadoptionofthesetechnologiesintheagriculturesector.Highcosts,lackoftechnicalexpertise,andlimitedaccesstoreliableinternetconnectivityaresomeofthemainchallengesfacingfarmers.ThispaperproposesasystemthatcombinesthebenefitsofZigBeeandGPRSforremotemonitoringandmanagementoffarmland,whilealsoaddressingsomeofthesechalleng
