UWBCHIRPSignals UWBCHIRPsignalsaretransmittedbysweepingthroughawidefrequencyrangeinashorttime,anditsfrequencycomponentsareconcentratedinanarrowbandwidth,whichmakesitresistanttointerferenceandallowsforahigh-resolutiondelayestimation.ThereceivedUWBCHIRPsignalcanberepresentedas: where,A(t)istheamplitudeofthetransmittedsignal,Tistheperiodofthesignal,f(t)isthefrequencymodulationfunction,andn(t)isthenoise.Thefrequencymodulationfunctionf(t)isalinearchirpsignalwithaconstantsweeprate,whichcanbeexpressedas: Wheref0isthecenterfrequencyofthechirpsignal,αisthefrequencymodulationrate,andτisthestartingtimeofthechirpsignal.
