Introduction Roadengineeringsurveyingplaysanimportantroleinthedesign,construction,maintenance,andrepairofroads.Thesurveyingprocessinvolvesaseriesofmeasurementsthatareusedtodeterminethelocation,elevation,andorientationofvariouspointsonasite.Inthepast,traditionalsurveyingtechniqueswereused,whichcouldbetime-consumingandoftenlackedaccuracy.However,withthedevelopmentofmoderntechnology,GPSRTKhasbecomeanincreasinglypopularmethodforsurveyinginroadengineering. GPSRTKTechnology GPSRTK(Real-TimeKinematic)technologyisahigh-precisionpositioningtechniqueusedinsurveyingandmapping.Thistechnologyusesabasestationandarovertocollectdatainreal-time,allowingformorereliable,accuratemeasurements.Thebasestationisafixedreceiverthatisusedforreferenceinthesurveyingprocessandispositionedataknownlocation.Theroverisaportablereceiverthatisusedtocollectdatainthefield.
