Introduction: Electrodepositionisawidelyemployedtechniquefordepositingmetalliclayersontovarioussubstrates.Itinvolvesthereductionofmetalionsfromanelectrolyteontoanelectrodesurface.Thepropertiesofthedepositedlayerdependonvariousfactors,includingthechoiceofelectrolyteandoperatingconditions.Inrecentyears,ionicliquidshaveattractedsignificantattentionaspromisingelectrolytesduetotheiruniqueproperties,suchashighthermalandchemicalstability,wideelectrochemicalwindow,andlowvolatility.
