PreparationMethods 1)PowderMetallurgy:Powdermetallurgyisacommonlyusedtechniqueforfabricatingcopper-graphitecomposites.Inthismethod,copperandgraphitepowdersaremixed,compacted,andsinteredundercontrolledconditions.Thesinteringprocessfacilitatesthediffusionbondingbetweencopperandgraphiteparticles,resultinginauniformcompositestructure. 2)Infiltration:Infiltrationisanalternativemethodthatinvolvestheinfiltrationofmoltencopperintoapreformmadeofgraphiteparticles.Themoltencopperpenetratestheporousstructureofthepreformandsolidifies,formingadensecopper-graphitecomposite.Thismethodallowsforthefabricationofcompositeswithvaryingcoppercontentandgraphitedistribution. 3)ElectrophoreticDeposition:Electrophoreticdepositionisatechniquethatinvolvesthedepositionofchargedparticlesontoaconductivesubstrateundertheinfluenceofanelectricfield.Inthecaseofcopper-graphitecomposites,graphiteparticlesaresuspendedinasolventandsubjectedtoelectrophoreticdepositionontoacoppersubstrate.Thedepositedgraphiteparticlesaresubsequentlysintered,resultinginacopper-graphitecomposite.
