钛酸纳米管光催化降解甲基橙的研究 Title:PhotocatalyticDegradationofMethylOrangeusingTitaniumDioxideNanotubes Abstract: Photocatalysisusingsemiconductormaterialshasemergedasapromisingtechnologyforthedegradationoforganicpollutants.Titaniumdioxide(TiO2)hasbeenwidelystudiedasaphotocatalystduetoitshighreactivity,lowcost,andchemicalstability.Inrecentyears,TiO2nanotubeshavegainedattentionasapotentialmaterialforphotocatalyticapplicationsduetotheiruniquestructuralproperties.Thisstudyaimstoinvestigatethephotocatalyticdegradationofmethylorange(MO),acommonorganicdye,usingTiO2nanotubes. 1.Introduction Thepresenceoforganicdyesinwastewaterisasignificantenvironmentalconcernduetotheirharmfuleffectsonbothhumansandaquaticlife.Traditionaldyeremovalmethodsareofteninefficientandcostly.Therefore,theutilizationofadvancedtechnologies,suchasphotocatalysis,canprovideasustainableandeffectivesolution.TheuniquepropertiesofTiO2nanotubesmakethemanidealmaterialforsuchapplications. 2.Methodology TiO2nanotubesweresynthesizedthroughahydrothermalmethodandcharacterizedusingtechniquessuchasX-raydiffraction(XRD),scanningelectronmicroscopy(SEM),andtransmissionelectronmicroscopy(TEM).ThephotocatalyticactivityofTiO2nanotubeswasevaluatedbymeasuringthedegradationefficiencyofMOunderultraviolet(UV)lightirradiation.Theeffectofvariousparameters,includingcatalystdosage,initialdyeconcentration,andpH,wasinvestigated. 3.ResultsandDiscussion TheXRDanalysisconfirmedtheformationofhigh-qualityTiO2nanotubeswithagoodcrystallinity.SEMandTEMimagesrevealedthetubularstructureofthesynthesizednanotubeswithadiameterintherangeof50-100nm.ThephotocatalyticdegradationtestsshowedthatTiO2nanotubesexhibitedexcellentperformanceinremovingMOunderUVlightirradiation.ThedegradationefficiencyincreasedwithincreasingcatalystdosageandUVlightintensity.TheinitialdyeconcentrationandpHalsoinfluencedthedegradationrate. 4.Mechanism ThephotocatalyticdegradationofMObyTiO2nanotubesinvolvesseveralsteps.First,theUVlightirradiationactivatestheTiO2nanotubes,promotingthegenerat
